The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in February this year announced to make linking of Aadhaar card with scholarship accounts mandatory for college and university students applying to avail benefits under the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme.

While applying for various scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal Bank account details are not required for this year. Instead the bank account should be seeded with Aadhaar number

✅ Bank account seeded with Aadhaar number will be automatically selected by NSP

🚸 Those whose bank account is not seeded will not be able to apply for any scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal from this year.

✅ To seed Aadhaar Contact the bank where you have the account with passbook and aadhaar card.

🚸 Those who have accounts in more than one bank should consider Aadhaar seeding in any one bank only
